The EC Lync carry-on bag is an innovative luggage solution for those who want to travel light and fast when flying off on adventures, avoiding the extra charges and delays of checking in hold luggage.

In airport mode, the bag uses its removable, collapsible frame with an extendable towing handle and a pair of wheels, to let you tow it around those endless corridors to your plane, where it will even conform to budget airline baggage size restrictions.

Then, when you've picked up your hire car or settled into your hotel, you can remove the frame, with its built-in wheels and handle, clip on the removable back pack shoulder straps and hey-presto - you have a back pack.

You're spoiled for pockets, with an easy-access top-pocket that we found perfect for a camera in back pack mode, two outer sleeve pockets (the outermost a stuff pocket with no zipper), a sleeve pocket behind the shoulder straps and two zippered internal mesh pockets inside the main compartment, which is accessed by a fully zippered front panel for easy loading.

Internal and external compression straps keep your load in place and compress unused space and there are grab handles on the top and side for manhandling the bag. All 10 external zips are lockable and there are reflective touches front and back for night time visibility.

All in all an innovative bag design that's tailor-made for short-haul adventures giving you a roll-on, roll-off carry-on bag, as well as a 36 litre packpack.
