The LTM5 hat from Tilley keeps the sun off your face and does it with style. It has a UPF 50+ rating, repels rain and floats on water as well as being guaranteed for life not to wear out.

The Tilley name is synonymous with old school quality and longevity. Okay, 65 quid is a lot to spend on something to keep the sun off your face but this thing will likely last you forever and is guaranteed as such, it also comes with insurance against loss for 2 years! (50% deductible).

The LTM5 has an easy to handle light weight of 85 grams and a mesh band running around the crown which enhances breathability, this makes it a great choice for outdoors adventurers.

The Nylamtium material repels rain and surprisingly none makes its way in through the mesh band. The brim does a great job of shading you from the sun or rain and has the added benefit of making you look like a regular Crocodile Dundee.

For added old school style points you can opt to drop the wind cord under your chin as you blaze a trail through the wilderness.

In summary, if you're in to full brim hats and the great outdoors then you should head to your nearest Tilley stockist - the quality and attention to detail speaks for itself.
