You may not have heard of 2XU but that doesn't mean they're a new company, having a proven track record of manufacturing sports orientated clothing for the Australian market.

True to its heritage the Ice X short sleeve running t-shirt is designed to keep you cool when running in hot weather. It does this through the use of some trick materials and a loose, easy going fit.

The lightweight ICE XP fabric is very thin and doesn't cling no matter how sweaty you get. Heat is well managed thanks to the thin, breathable material which is designed to block UV rays. 2XU claim that this technology can lower skin temperature by up to 3 degrees, obviously we can't substantiate these claims but the Ice X is definitely one of the coolest t-shirts we've tested for use during high intensity sports.

The seams are minimal so don't chafe and the cut allows for plenty of freedom of movement. Sizing is fairly generous which works well for this style of t-shirt.

The vital reflective trim is fairly minimal on the Ice X but is there none the less so will help you to be seen when running out on the roads at night.

Overall, this is a great t-shirt for running in warmer weather and we don't see any reason not to use it into the winter either under a jacket or, for the hardier, on its own.
