Incredibly light and packable
The belt seems a little unnecessary, but hey, it's included!

Using the Vector Lite quick-drying, stretchy fabric which also boasts factor 50 UPF and DWR treatment for protection from both sun and light rain, the Terra Pack pants from Montane have clear mountain trekking credentials.

The slim line fit and articulated knees (especially when combined with the stretch properties) add to the utility of the pants. As does a neat little system of poppers around the ankle which allow for tailoring of the leg opening (to fit snugly around your boots) and for pinning the hem at half mast for a three-quarter effect if it gets really warm.

A couple of other factors make these a clear winner for the hiker on his travels; firstly, and most obviously, the weight and tiny pack size. Montane claim 237 grams, which combined with the stuff-ability means the Terra Pack pants will fit in any luggage or pack, regardless of how much you've already filled it!

One of our other main criteria for travel is versatility, and the understated looks and colour options of the Terra Pack pants make them wearable in all kinds of situations.

Finally, the relatively low price of £70 means these pants could very well be the first thing on your packing list for any adventure.
