The Sherpa Adventure Gear Sita Pullover is a quick drying Polartec thermal fleece, with a fitted look and extended neckline - which kept our tester snug and warm.
Sherpa Sita Pullover
The Sherpa Adventure Gear Sita Pullover Polartec thermal fleece is styled more like a snug jumper than a bog standard unflattering fleece, but is seriously warm to boot.
The best aspect on test of the Sita Pullover is the fantastic extended chimney collar construction; which is more like a built in snood, rather than a tight roll neck. It's perfect to roll down when the sun's out - or pull up over your chin, when the temperature starts to drop.
The Polartec Thermal Pro is made of 53% recycled polyester, and has a very strong warmth to weight ratio, coming in at only 270g.
It's wrinkle resistant and well-tailored - so can be stuffed into a backpack all day, and then slung on to look reasonably smart when downing a post hike pint in the pub.
Sita is the main female character in the Hindu epic Ramayana, worshipped for her attributes of dedication, self-sacrifice and purity. When wearing the Sita Pullover, the fact that a portion of its cost will go towards the Paldorje Education Foundation for Sherpa children in Nepal help may make you feel a little Sita-like, but it will also keep you uber warm too.
