Lightweight, warm and water repellent - what's not to like?
Well, it's not cheap but it is a great sleeping bag
mammut.ch

Designed specifically for lightweight travel, with a close fitting design and shorter zip which helps reduce weight and bulk, the Alpine Sphere weighs just 800g and will keep you warm down to minus 7 (minus 1 for women who apparently feel the cold more...) thanks to its 800-fill power European goose down filling.

The ProlightTX outer is water repellent, DWR coated and windproof so it lends itself well to bivvying, and the lining feels wonderfully soft and snug in use - there are no cold spots thanks to ‘wave shaped’ internal chambers which prevent the down slipping or bunching.

If you like a lot of living space in your sleeping bag the Sphere may not appeal, but for lightweight backpacking and warmer mountain adventures it’s a great option if budget isn’t a consideration.
