January 2012 saw the introduction to the UK of a new bike company, Matrix Cycles. Already a top brand in Asia, the company, founded by Mr Strong Guo in the 1990s, designs and builds bike frames and wheels for road and mountain bikes and is rapidly gaining a following among the UK racing fraternity.
It’s currently sponsoring Iain Dawson who regained his European para-triathlon Championship title (he has only 5% vision) recently on his Matrix Tandem and is building bespoke bikes for the Irish paralympic cycle team for London 2012.
