Snowdon moonlight hike with Macmillan

See Wales’s highest peak in a different light. Literally. You’ll set off at midnight with torches to climb the mountain, and arrive at the summit in time to see the sun rise, experiencing the spectacular scenery of Snowdonia lighting up in the first rays of morning as you descend again, in the knowledge that you have raised money to help those affected by cancer.
Cost: Raise £375 and you’ll get dinner and breakfast, guides and transfer.

Challenge Cancer Cycle North

Ride across the Pennines from Leeds to Manchester or visa-versa in this 60 mile hilly cycling challenge. Either way you’ll take on the mighty Ilkley Moor. All routes meet at the same free food stop at Keighley – even the there-and-back 120 mile option. All finishers get two further feed stops, a medal and glass of bubbly at their finish line, and a free finisher’s meal. You can choose to support on of  four cancer charities: Breast Cancer Now, Cancer Research UK, Macmillan or Prostate Cancer UK.
Cost: Registration £49 for day rides, £59 for there and back rides, fundraising target: £199.

Take on the Rob Roy Challenge for Marie Curie

Taking in some of Scotland’s most historic and spectacular scenery, this festival of adventure sport throws down four challenges. The first is the 16-mile Rob Roy Ramble along the Rob Roy Way, which like all the challenges, runs from Pitlochry to Kenmore, beside the beautiful Loch Tay.  The second adds a 15-mile cycle to the Ramble. The third extends the ride to 35 miles, to Loch Rannoch and back. Finally, the fourth challenge adds a 56 mile loop of Loch Rannoch.

High Atlas Summit Trek

8 -13 September, 2016
You’ll climb and scramble over the huge boulders and rock of northern Africa’s highest peak – Jebel Toubkal, which stands at 4,167m. The climbing is not technical but that doesn’t mean the going won’t be tough, as you have to overcome high altitude, tough terrain and difficult weather on your way to the summit. Along the route you’ll visit Berber villages and celebrate the end of your adventure in Marrakesh.

BHF Great Wall of China Trek

15 - 23 October, 2016
On this 9-day trip, with five days of trekking you will experience this 2000 year old wonder of ancient China with your own eyes and feet, while raising money to combat heart disease. You will head off the beaten track to visit unrestored sections of the great wall, and marvel at the panoramic mountain vistas from watchtowers dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Ho Chi Minh to Angkor Wat Cycle for Action Medical Research

1 October, 2016
You will cycle 500km over 10 days from Vietnamese Saigon – now called Ho Chi Minh City – through the rice paddy fields of the Mekong Delta into Cambodia, to the highlight of your cultural cycling challenge – a tour of the incredible Royal Temples of Angkor. Bikes and support will be provided and you’ll ride between 30 and 95km a day on mainly tarmac roads. The terrain is mainly flat, with a few gentle hills but the sights are incredible.
Cost: Registration £399, fundraising target: £3,450. Includes transport and transfers, accommodation, support and most meals.
