We review PackTowl's RobeTowl, which works as both a robe and a towel for a little luxury on your travels.

Nice to relax in and also works as a towel
Quite pricey

Is it a towel? Is it a robe? No, it’s actually both. The RobeTowl is designed to work as both a robe and a towel any time a little extra privacy and warmth is needed while drying off – so you can use it after a surf sesh, a wild swim or a spot of coasteering.

The calf-length, full-sleeved robe is lightweight, antimicrobial, and machine washable, and will soak up four times its weight in water then wring out almost completely dry.

It also packs away much smaller than a regular towelling robe, making great for pretty much any kind of travel.

It comes in three sizes (small, medium, large) and three subtle colours (stone, sky blue, and currant) and features a generous hood, waist tie, and two deep front pockets large enough to hold one-litre bottles.

The material feels great against the skin and the robes work equally well for just slobbing out after you get out of the shower – and if you’re really lazy you hardly even need to bother drying yourself since the towel will almost do it for you.

That we like…
