We hope you find the site a great read with a good mix of informative and inspiring content.

With an insatiable passion for wild camping walks, Gear Editor Mike has spent the past few years taking fast and light hiking adventures to the wildest and most exposed spots of South Wales, the Quantocks, Exmoor and Dartmoor. Something of a fitness addict and known for pushing a punishing pace, Mike certainly knows what is (and what is not) light and breathable.

Pete Coombs is continually drawn to the mountains and has led expeditions in countries and terrains as varied as the high Tian Shan Mountains of Central Asia and the deserts of Africa. Not to be slowed down by having a family, Pete can often be seen dragging his kids behind him on his bicycle.

Partnerships Manager: Jamie Blackburn

Jamie quite literally walked in off the street responding to a job board we had outside the office. He's worked as a boot fitter at Cotswold Outdoor, selling bikes at Halfords and as a videographer doing seasons in Zermatt so turned out to be a perfect fit! After hours you'll find him gigging relentlessly around the local area with his covers band 'Undiscovered'. He's pretty good too!

Sales Manager: Ed Ramstedt

Ed joined in October 17 from the BBC where he was working on clasical music magazines. Admitting he had tried but failed to find a love for clasical music and having a love of the outdoors and particularly hiking and wild camping led him to apply to join us. He's recently been learning to ski. He loved it so much he was spotted by the Tignes tourist board webcam at 5.00PM in the near dark shuttling up and down the tiny slopes near the lift station to eek out every minute of his first day on the slopes!

Editorial Intern: Sarah Coad

Sarah comes fresh form university looking to break into the industry. Since she joined she's turned her hand to pretty much everything we do here from handing out magazines at shows to writing, subbing, image sourcing and even sorting out office admin. She's good at it too.
