Craghoppers Hermosa Shorts

The Craghoppers Hermosa Check Shorts are nice, fairly lightweight 100% cotton shorts featuring an understated and quite stylish Prince of Wales check.

The fit is reasonably snug – they don’t come with a baggy surfer style – although for stuff like hill walking that’s an advantage as you don’t want too much material flapping in the breeze.

The material also has SolarShield 40UPF zinc oxide protection applied to it, which will protect your legs from both UVA and UVB radiation even when wet.

You get six pockets including a sunglasses wipe, and for summer hillwalking and just hanging about in town or on the beach the Hermosas do the trick as long as you don’t mind a relatively slim fit.
