£100 may seem like an awful lot for a sandal, which is why it's better to think of the Evofit One as a highly tuned shoe with ventilating cut outs.

The upper is made with a soft and flexible material that has a 4-way stretch mapped to different parts of the foot. The material wicks moisture and variable densities enhance airflow, increasing breathability in certain areas. The lightweight material dries quickly when things get sweaty or when you go for a paddle in the water. All of this adds up to a lovely sandal to wear in hot weather and an ideal option for multi-activity trips where time is going to be spent on the water.

The outsole is tuned for a mix of wet and dry land, the super sticky rubber and densely packed lugs perhaps favour waterside activities but assuming you're not wading into mud or climbing the Matterhorn you'll find the grip sufficient for most dry trails.

The bungee cord closure pulls the upper tight into the foot for a second skin feel that flexes but maintains supportiveness. The PU midsole is supportive, flexible and shock absorbing and TPU inserts tighten things up in targeted areas for increased stability.

We found the sizing of the Evofit a touch small, our toes sometimes contact the inside of the chunky rubber rand on flat ground so consider sizing up half a size if you're ordering online.

An attractive range of mainly sporty looking colour options in both men's and women's fits completes the offering and solidifies the Evofit One as a great sandal for the outdoors. We think that it's an accomplished piece of footwear that's well worth considering if you can see beyond the high price.
