Great, basic short with all-day comfort and flattering fit
Neat sizing
lusso.bike

A plain and understated women's short from UK manufacturer Lusso, the Suzi has an eight panel design with 50 SPF UV protection, a 'mid to long distance' chammy and stretchy Italian 190 fabric. With no bibs Lusso have opted to beef up the waistband into a 3 inch wide, ribbed spandex type fabric.

We loved that wide and flattering waistband that held everything in place without causing hotspots, all the time flattening the stomach without undue pressure. It was superbly comfortable in every bike position we threw at it, as were the three inch wide, silicone printed leg grippers which never once slipped but barely left a pressure mark when pulled off. With these entry points sorted the rest of the short just had to keep up really, and the soft and stretchy Italian 190 did the business with style. With their pleasantly short legs they just felt right for all sorts of activities, with a form fitting and unrestrictive fit when on.

The sizing was definitely on the neat side on our medium, so it would always be wise to check up on sizing before you commit to buying. The legs were pleasingly short Otherwise you really couldn't go wrong with these excellent, UK made shorts, for everything from lengthy road rides to a quick hammer at the gym. At £45 the price is right too.
