Wonderfully stretchy with impressive pockets!
Slightly quirky cut to otherwise clever front pocket design

Rohan's Stretch Bags are the British hillwalking and travel brand's more flexible version of their already much-loved Bags travel trousers - their extra stretchiness making them suitable for the most dynamic of outdoor pursuits.

To this end you still get a pair of front zipped pockets doubled with open hand pockets over the top - the latter being able to expand with a single popper on the outside upper corner. Although this makes for a slightly odd flaring look to the top of pants that are otherwise pretty figure hugging, the functionality is excellent - after all, who isn't fed up with losing ten pound notes every time they take their hands in and out of their pockets?

Rohan's Multiflex Light stretchy fabric is a triumph, with the pants allowing completely unrestricted movement despite being almost skin-tight from the off. This next-to-skin fit certainly helps wicking and breathability, as we found they stayed comfortable and sweat-free even on hard, hot days.

We also found that although thin feeling, the Stretch Bags are easily warm enough to wear well into winter, with great wind-proofing.

Other features include a useful D ring on the front for attaching a penknife, compass or rabbit's foot as is your wont, a pair of large rear zipped pockets, reinforced seat and knee panels and sun protection of UPF 40+.

Versatile, subtly technical walking pants, which will move easily with you no matter how high or hard your walk, hike or scramble takes you.
