Berghaus has launched its first app, which allows users to create their own adventure lists, share those adventures and view the adventures of others for more inspiration.

berghaus adventure list app

Available for iPhones and iPads, the Berghaus Adventure List app is free.

The app comes pre-loaded with a selection of iconic Berghaus adventures and everyone who signs up can also view any that have been added by other users.  An intuitive interface allows each user to build an outdoor adventure list, whether that involves walking, climbing, biking or running.  Then, during the activity, the app can be used to keep a record of the route, along with comments, photos and video clips.  Once the adventure has been completed, all of the information can be shared in a unique short video, and is added to app’s database for friends and other app users to view.

The app is the latest development in the Berghaus Adventure List campaign, which was launched in 2014 and encourages fans, and potential fans, of the outdoors, to choose the adventures that they want to achieve, at whatever level and in whichever location.  Inspiration for aspiring adventurers is delivered by climbing icon Sir Chris Bonington in a short film and the app is designed to provide additional motivation.

A video tour of the Berghaus Adventure List app is available, you can also view an example of it being put to use.  The app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store.
