The women's specific back length means the pack sits exactly in the right place and fit can be customized yet further via the height adjustable sternum strap, padded hip belt and shoulder straps, and the load adjustment straps on the top of the pack. We tested the pack in the regular back length and found it to be just about ok for our 5'6" gear editing frame. If you're any taller, then we recommend taking a look at the longer option.
