Yes, this is a pricey camping mattress, but if you’re planning on putting up your tent anywhere the temperature is likely to be in single figures or less you’ll be glad you splashed out on the NeoAir XTherm since it’s so effective in keeping the cold at bay.

Four layers and 2.5 inches of reflective material recycle body heat and create air pockets that reduce convective heat loss, and ‘Reflective Barriers’ provide additional warmth without the weight or bulk usually found in a four-season mattress.

The weight of the mattress is around 1-lb depending on size, and it packs away to around the same size as a water bottle, so for serious backpacking, expeditions or camping it’s great. A repair kit and stuff sac are also included in the price.
