We review the Snugpak Subdivide Roller Bag - good value, well-designed and versatile.

Versatility and convenience; good value
A tad unwieldy when empty, but does that really matter?

The Snugpak Subdivide is a very versatile roller bag, featuring two main compartments which combine the features of a holdall and a suitcase into one convenient pack.

The bottom compartment has a zip which allows the bag to be fully opened as a suitcase, and within it you’ll find four handy zipped mesh pockets along with the main storage area. Above this is another large compartment with an internal mesh zipped compartment.

The design allows easy access to gear in both compartments when needed. You also get a handy organisation compartment next to the retractable handle which is good for stashing travel documents when on the go, and there’s a bungee cord on the top for storing a coat or jacket when you’re inside an airport or train station.

There are grab handles either end and an adjustable main carry handle which allows you to carry the bag by hand or over even slung your shoulder with lighter loads. I particularly liked the fact that the four compression straps allow the Subdivide to be compressed for easy storage and also mean that you can use it with smaller loads.

All in all a good value and very versatile roller bag that you can use for everything from long weekend breaks to summer or winter holidays.
