Alf Alderson reviews the superlight Eider Target Aero jacket

eider target aero

Stylish, lightweight, works well
Expensive

Easily one of the best and lightest (335g) jackets we've tested recently, with both great design and good looks, the Target Aero consists of a Gore-tex Active shell fabric with stretch panels through the shoulders and extra breathable Gore Aspre fabric mesh in the back for even more comfort under a back pack, on warm days or simply when working hard. This is also aided by decent sized pit zips.

There’s a fully adjustable hood and the cuffs and hem are also adjustable; about the only downside to the jacket is that it has just one relatively small zipped chest pocket.

If you can live with that and are not on a budget it's well worth checking out.
