Outwell Trelew Summer kids seat

The Outwell Trelew was taken on a toddler’s first camping trip as part of a well thought out mission to make camping a fun, enjoyable and therefore repeatable experience! When we unpacked the seat from the thick, robust carry bag our eyes were assaulted with the brightly coloured stripe pattern. This is the kind of design that kids love - fun and funky.

By the time we had unfolded the seat out he had excitedly jumped into it – it was a perfect fit for an almost 3 year old and looked like it would last him another few years before having to move on to a grown-ups seat.

The moon shaped seating area looked comfortable and the high strength durable steel frame was robust and stable enough to cope with a hyperactive toddlers habits. The polyester seat covering felt strong and was easy to wipe clean with wet wipes after the inevitable spillages.

At the end of the trip we folded the seat up within seconds to its folded dimensions of 11 x 17 x 50 cm and carried it to the car with very little drama (it weighs a mere  1.9 kg) ready for another fun filled trip to the coast.
