With an official price of £35 but widely available for a mere £25 online, this could be one of the best camping bargains around.

Such a simple thing as having a place above ground level to put stuff can make a camping experience that much more enjoyable, and that is exacly what the Robens Adventure Table gives you without any pomp and ceremony.

Small and light enough at just over a kilo and 72cm long, the Adventure Table easily straps to the side of a backpack for wild camping with friends.

At your campsite, it folds out and is goes up in seconds not minutes, providing a firm and stable base for cups, plates, and late night card games under the stars. It's also robust and cheap enough to not be too precious about when friends spill the contents of their hipflask on it.

The frame is made of 6061 aluminium, so is strong and light and the top material is a very thick 1680D Oxford polyester. The stuff sack isn't waterproof but then the table dries very quickly anyway.

A smaller table is available which shaves a few hundred grams off the pack weight. But the ability for this folding table to be used by many people in many ways makes it a great option for group camping trips without much of a size, weight, or price penalty.
