Not ideal for serious winter walking

This is an understated looking boot made from top-quality full-grain waterproof Italian leather combined with Anatom’s ‘tri.aria’ water-proof, breathable membrane to keep the elements at bay.

Heel and ankle support is good and the boots are light enough to allow you to move easily in them – so much so that they’d be a good year-round boot as long as you don’t intend on especially demanding winter use, for which they’re not really designed.

The VIbram Ushba sole is pretty sticky and well lugged ensuring good underfoot stability, and after very little real breaking in the Q3 becomes a lightweight, comfortable boot which – although it only just squeezes into our 3-4 season boot category – is certainly worth considering for less serious winter outings.
