Warm feet – who wouldn’t like that?
Not an out-and-out hillwalking boot

You don’t always want a big hiking style boot for winter/snowy conditions, which is where the Revel II comes in; if you’re after a funky looking, super warm boot for wandering from chalet to bar in resort, walking the dog in the snow or just trudging through wet and rainy winter days at home these are ideal.

They have three heat trapping layers built in to keep your feet warm and are also waterproof, and the lining is moisture wicking, whilst the rugged multi-directional lugs on the soles will keep you upright in snow and slush.

The nubuck leather uppers look tough and burly yet the Revel II is pretty light (around 650g), and as always with Keen build quality is excellent (I especially liked the supportive ankles) and no breaking in is required. Essentially the Revel II is a great winter boot for everything other than winter hillwalking.
