Craghoppers' 45-litre Roller Nest Bag is a useful, versatile roller bag that's ideal for summer holidays and general travel; we review it here

+
Plain good looks, expandable main compartment
Zipper pulls are a bit on the small size

A very useful medium-sized roller nest travel bag that works well for long weekends or holidays where you don’t require stacks of kit. The tough outer fabric gives the bag plain good looks and features two grab handles (the top one padded) and a two versatile, quite large zipped outer pockets.

The telescopic handle has a nice smooth action and gives you the option of two settings, and there are external compression straps to keep everything snugly packed down, and smooth rolling wheels with a funky red go-faster design.

The main zippered compartment of the bag is easily accessible, although the lockable zip pullers could do with being a tad bigger, and the bag also has three internal zipped compartments as well as compression straps – in addition you get three small, loose storage bags as a ‘bonus’, for the likes of dirty clothes or shoes.

We especially liked the expandable zip which runs right around the bag's main compartment and gives quite a bit of extra storage space for the additional a bits and pieces you inevitably pick up on your travels.

If you’re looking for a well-designed, plain and functional roller bag at a good price for your summer holidays here’s one that’s well worth checking out.
