The Outback Cotton is available in an earthy green colour which is natural looking and blends into the environment, whether that be the mountains or a riverside pub. It has bags of character that only increases with age, providing you wash out any sweat on a regular basis that is.

The cotton material has a waxed finish for moisture shedding as well as certified UPF 50+ sun protection. The brim casts a perfect shadow over the face and neck keeping you safe on blazing hot days. A synthetic Hydrofil sweatband lines the interior and wicks sweat away, the hat also has brass grommets on both sides for added ventilation. The Outback washes well in a machine, which is great for when the inevitable pong sets in.

As with any Tilley hat the Outback is guaranteed for life - you probably won't need it tough considering Tilley's reputation for bombproof durability.

Tilley's hats come in proper hat sizing, so it's vital that you measure your head as per their guidelines to get the right fit before ordering. Assuming the right sizing the Outback sits comfortably on the head and on blustery days the windcords help to stop it from being blown away.

There's something for everyone in Tilley's expansive hat range but we love the classic good looks and light weight of the Outback as well as its excellent sun protection. Value wise it isn't comparable to your average trucker cap, but the price is definitely right for something that should last you a lifetime.
