We take a look at the Victorinox Jelly Huntsman knife, a twist on the original Huntsman.

Overall Score
Classic design that works well
Not sure about the ‘jelly’ bit

Presumably named after its opaque finish, which allows you to see the inner workings of the knife, the Huntsman is otherwise a classic Swiss Army knife and as such exhibits all the best features of the design.

It’s well made, tough and will last a lifetime – I have a Victorinox knife that’s 20 years old and still going strong.

The Huntsman has 15 functions covering pretty much every eventuality – these include a large and small blade knife, corkscrew, can and bottle openers, scissors, saw, tweezers etc. – basically, buy one of these and you may never need another knife again.
