Great build quality, easy to erect, very light
Quite expensive and tight squeeze for two
firstascent.co.uk

The MSR Nook is a superlight, double-walled two-person tent with a minimal footprint which makes it ideal for backcountry use where good pitches may be at a premium.

It weighs only 1.42kg making it ideal form solo campers but it does have space enough for two at a squeeze.

Build quality is superb and erection is simple and quick although you have to pitch the inner first.

The Nook is waterproofed with MSR’s Durashield coating, which gives good resistance to moisture-induced breakdown when packed, and features mesh windows and fly vents help to minimize condensation.

If you really want to keep things minimalist you can use just a trekking pole to support the tent since it’s freestanding.

Well worth checking out, especially for more demanding conditions.
