Made in Yorkshire by world experts in wool tailoring, this hand crafted and finished heavyweight finest virgin merino lambswool shirt is warm, water resistant, breathable and 100 per cent natural; it effectively regulates body temperature and resists odours; and by ‘eck it looks champion.

You can use it as a shell with one or two base layers underneath, or in colder weather wear a shell over the top. It looks at its best as a shell with its slim tailored body fit, designed to reduce flapping. This fit doesn’t mean the 'shirt' is restrictive though, as space has been engineered around the shoulders and the arms are articulated. You can get a standard fit or longer length to keep your bum warm on chairlifts and the like.

Quality and attention to detail are superb, from reinforced seams and thermally bonded button threads to prevent unwinding to strengthened stress points and nifty touches like Van Dyk contrast stitching on front and back plackets.

And perhaps best of all, the McNair Mountain Shirt looks brilliant whether on the slopes, in the bar or in town; and it will continue to look brilliant for years such is the quality and hardwearing nature of it. We love it!
