The Odlo Pactor bike jacket features Gore Windstopper technology which, predictably enough is designed to keep the wind out. It features a cycling specific cut, a DWR finish and reflective detailing.

The Pactor jacket looks the business with subtle detailing making it look every bit as high end as it is.

Slip the Pactor on and, once you've got over the good looks, you'll start to appreciate the excellent cut which is just baggy enough to go over layers without being unnecessarily flappy.

The elasticated dropped hem and cuffs are both well judged, being the right length to offer proper protection from the elements as well as being simple but comfortable in use.

The Pactor takes enough chill out of a biting wind to make for a comfortable riding experience, that's assuming you've got the right layers on underneath, and it does this in an impressively lightweight package. Add in the DWR finish, which sheds light showers effectively and you've got a jacket which is a no-brainer to take out on a ride.

High-end performance and styling usually comes at a cost and it's no different with the Pactor Windstopper, at £160 it rubs shoulders with the Rapha set, but then Odlo is, and always has been an unapologetically premium brand so we can't blame them for pricing this jacket to suit.
