Don’t let the name put you off, the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy is an accessible series of clinics and events not only for those accustomed to the demands and rigours of high Alpine environments but also for those looking to build on basic knowledge of their chosen activity.
With well-established clinics such as mountaineering, trail running and climbing running alongside family friendly clinics, hiking and photography to name but a few, there really is something for everyone regardless of age, level or experience.
All guided clinics take place in the mountains surrounding Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, and with a range of single and multi-day experiences on offer you can fully immerse yourself into the topic and environment, with the opportunity to spend the night in a hut or bivy.
Arc'teryx Alpine Village
The Arc’teryx Alpine Village is based in the heart of Chamonix, in the Place du Triangle under a giant transparent canopy, giving you an uninterrupted view of the mountains and sky above. And even if you don’t attend any of the clinics, guest speakers, a bouldering wall, movie night, live bands, gear tests, and world-class athlete demos are all on hand to provide some great entertainment.
