Fjallraven's famous 'Classic' series of hiking and wild camping events finally gets a UK leg.

The idea is simple, hike through a beautiful and rugged landscape over a number of days with everything you need to survive on your back, sleeping wild along the way. For any keen hiker this is a rite of passage, but the new UK event means you don't have to travel far to tick this one off your bucket list.

And even more appealing to those with a busy schedule, the event is held over three short days, with one of those days falling on the weekend, this means you'll only need to take two days off work - a small price to pay for what promises to be a fun and memorable experience.

We've been advised that tickets are limited and are expected to sell out fast, with a Glastonbury style initial registration on 23rd January 2020, and for 12 hours only. Tickets will then be allocated at random, so get your reminders set ready for registration day.

Fjallraven Classic UK event details

Scotland's rugged and wild Highlands have been picked as the location for the first UK Classic. The trek follows a 60km route through the Cairngorms National Park which boasts some of the most dramatic landscapes in the UK.

Setting off from Blair Atholl, just off the A9, the route winds it's way through moors, mountains and rivers to finally arrive at the finishing line at Glenmore Lodge outdoor centre.

The event takes place between 9th to 11th July 2020.

More about Fjallraven Classic

The Classic began as a journey through the rugged wilderness in Fjallraven's home country of Sweden, with many of Fjallraven's products being named after the peaks, valleys and towns in the area. The 110km hike passes along the Kungsleden or 'King's Trail' and since its inception the event has captured the imagination of walkers around the world which has enabled Fjallraven to add legs in destinations as far flung as Korea and the USA.
