1. Payment

You agree to pay the subscription price for the subscription package you have elected to purchase. You can get details of these prices at www.active-traveller.com/subscribe

You must provide us with complete and accurate payment information.

Payment for your subscription can be made by credit or debit card. Your payment will be processed on a rolling basis and your subscription will automatically continue unless and until terminated in accordance with section 3 below.

Recurring Card Payments

If you pay by credit or debit card your statement will show ‘Double A Media Ltd’ which is us, the company that publishes Active Traveller Magazine.

Your payment will be processed through the Worldpay Payment Gateway.

Accepted card payment methods are:

VISA visa debit visa electron mastercard maestro JCB

Payments will be requested immediately from your account and a recurring payment will be set up for your chosen subscription duration.

You can cancel your subscription at any time during the subscription period, a refund will be issued for all undelivered copies, calculated as a proportion of the price originally paid for the subscription and not the combined magazine cover price. Please note that promotional subscription offers including those with free gifts have a minimum term of 12 months.

2. Delivery

How much will I be charged for delivery?

Delivery of your magazines is free to anywhere in the UK, including the Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, and the Isle of Man. We class the Channel Islands as overseas.

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer postage to addresses overseas.

When will my first magazine be delivered?

We aim to dispatch items within five working days. All items are posted 2nd class Royal Mail, estimated arrival of your item under normal circumstances is 5-7 days from time of order.

Can I change my delivery address?

Once your order has been placed, the best way to change your address details is to contact the Active Traveller Magazine subscriptions department at subscriptions@active-traveller.com. 

My magazine hasn’t arrived or is damaged...

The fastest way to resolve this is to contact us at Active Traveller Magazine.


3. Renewals, Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

Can I renew my subscription?

Your subscription is set to automatically renew at the end of the subscription period in order to provide you with an uninterrupted service. We will contact you before the subscription expiry date with details of the renewal price and the date of renewal.

Can I cancel my subscription?


You can cancel the subscription at any time during the subscription period by calling 01285 644185, a refund will be issued for all undelivered copies, calculated as a proportion of the price originally paid for the subscription and not the combined magazine cover price.

If you cancel within 30 days of the expected delivery date of the next scheduled issue of the magazine we may not be able to process your request before the magazine reaches you and therefore you will be charged for that issue of the magazine.

Promotional subscription offers including those with free gifts have a minimum term of 12 months.

Can I transfer or change my subscription?

We are afraid that we cannot change or transfer your subscription to other magazines.


4. Change Order/Personal Details

How do I unsubscribe from any marketing emails?

Contact us if you want to unsubscribe from our marketing communications. All our marketing emails also contain an unsubscribe link that will remove you from our lists.

Can I change my delivery address?

Once your subscription copies have started arriving the best way to change your address details is to contact us at subscriptions@active-traveller.com. You will need to quote either the Subscriber Number printed on your magazine or your full postal address.

5. Our responsibility to you

We shall not be responsible for any failure by us to perform our obligations to you in relation to your subscription where this failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control.

We shall not be responsible for any failure to deliver your subscription if you have supplied us with an incorrect address for delivery.

Our liability to you in connection with your subscription will not exceed the total subscription fees charged for your current subscription period (being in all cases a maximum of twelve (12) months).
