Pretty good value and effective - especially if your knees creak!
'Suspension' system could be smoother

The Craghoppers Superlite Shock Absorber Pole helps take the strain off your knees when hillwalking since it has a built-in shock absorber which is easily activated by simply twisting the shaft of the pole once you’ve set the length.

Made from aircraft grade aluminium and weighing 250g, it also comes with a comfortable composite cork and light foam grip handle and padded adjustable wrist strap, plus the option of an interchangeable basket or road foot.

Personally I prefer ‘flicklock’ style adjustments on a walking pole to twisting as in this case, but they seem to hold well enough in use, and whilst the ‘suspension’ was a tad stiff and ‘gritty’ this is still quite a lot of pole for the money; just how it will fare after a few months of hard work remains to be seen, although I’d suggest it’s a pole that would be used by less demanding hikers so is less likely to be worked hard.
