Love cycling? Looking for your next challenge? London to Paris is an inspiring ride that any keen cyclist will want to tick off their list.
The five-day, action-packed ride covers 300km of undulating terrain, punctuated by uphill stretches and steep descents.
Starting on the bustling streets of swinging London, you'll cycle south through leafy Surrey and East Sussex, before embarking on a ferry ride to Dieppe. You'll pass through idyllic French countryside, ride through gorgeous Gallic towns and eventually arrive in the heart of Paris - taking in the iconic Eiffel Tower.
Then it's time to put your feet up. All that hard work will have really paid off: after crossing the finishing line you'll be treated to a first-hand view of the Tour De France's thrilling climax. It'll be a good chance to take in some Parisian cultural highlights, whether food, art, architecture or fashion.
The good news? It's an event that's being organised in 2016 by Marie Curie to help raise funds for people living with terminal illness. And they're offering you the chance to join their team.
Tackling the challenge with their well-oiled machine behind you means you'll benefit from:
Training guides, hints and tips to get you ready for the big challenge
Lots of fundraising ideas in your welcome pack
Support from a local community fundraiser to help you smash your target
Two Marie Curie representatives who will cycle the entire journey, join you on a training day, and organise a post-cycle reunion
Cycle dates: Thursday 21 July 2016 - Monday 25 July 2016
Minimum fundraising: £1,650
Registration fee: £199
